At a little after 2:30am Eric was rescued from behind the central heating boiler. Steve had to take apart the front of the kitchen cupboard and it was a joint effort in the end, with Steve lying on the floor stretching behind the boiler to roll Eric as a ball into the children’s fishing net that I was holding. Once in the net, Eric was hauled to safety. He was covered in dust, cobwebs and plaster dust, so we gave him a bath to wash it all off at a quarter to three in the morning. He is nicely dried off now and back in his den with a fresh plate of yummies and some water.
